Gunadesign DIY Celtic quaternary knot

This is my simplified version of the celtic quaternary knot. The four sides are said to represent the four seasons of four elements- fire, earth, wind and water. It looks complicated, but as soon as you understand the pattern it is not so difficult. And there are endless possibilities to develop your own design. I used this knot to create my

earrings Celtic Pearl Cage and pendant Celtic Cross.
