Crochet Necklace Fifty Shades of Gray
My 50 shades of gray necklace was inspired by Irish artist Yvonne Beale who gave a new twist to the traditional Irish crochet designs. I find her work unique and she proves that crochet is not only for babies and grannies. Many years ago I took some crochet lessons, so I found my old crochet hooks, book with patterns, and tried to create my version…
Gray is a neutral and balanced color. It is a cool, conservative color that seldom evokes strong emotion although it can be seen as a cloudy or moody color.
As the lighter side of black, gray is seen in storm clouds and some metals. Dark, charcoal gray carries with it some of the strength and mystery of black. Light grays are feminine in nature, while dark grays are masculine in nature. The gray color affects the mind and body by causing unsettling feelings.
People who favor gray can be the lone wolf type persons. Gray with more silver in it can be a very active color. Gray can have a cooling effect when placed next to other more vibrant colors. It has a stabilizing effect, making vibrant colors stand out while muting their vibration.
