Crochet Necklace with cabochon and dried birch bark- Memories of Finland

Under the glass cabochon is a dried birch bark with Iceland moss. It reminds me my vacations in in Finland with my friends. A bark was collected from the fireplace logs in our vacation house. No trees harmed. To continue this theme, the necklace is made from the black waxed cotton cord and cabochon is encircled by crochet flower decorated with black seed beads. The final necklace is slightly covered with bronze color gilders paste to give it some vintage look. Put on your nice long linen dress, don't forget my necklace and be ready for this summer.
