Nautical style

When did it become a trend? The formula for nautical style is as simple as it is perfect: navy, white, and a stripe.

Queen Victoria dressed her 4 year-old son in a sailor suite in 1846. Men's fashion picked up on the maritime style in the 1930's and Coco Chanel introduced it to women's fashion later on.
