Newspaper Doctor Small Handbag (Italy)

To recycle paper is popular: beads, flowers, plates and new packaging bags, but a handbag! It is something new and original. Look on this beautiful cult bag, it is made of recycled paper from an Italian Newspaper. The pages are cut into strips, laminated and hand pleated in order to obtain a highly durable and waterproof bag. A perfect fusion of ladylike manners and a “must have” for trendsetter.

This amazing bag is made by is Carmen Björnald (Ceebee). She was born in German, but grew up in Sweden, where Carmen studied fashion and design. In the early 80's she moved to Italy to pursue a modeling career. Carmen still live with her family in Milan where she has a small studio.
