Earrings: Celtic Pearl Cage
Once upon a time there was a little princes... but the wicked witch turn her into the beautiful pearl and put her in the silver cage.
Celtic knots are one the most recognizable artwork in Celtic history. There is little written history documenting their purpose and it makes them so mysterious. They appear also in Roman mosaics, and were made by Vikings and Saxons. My cage is a simplified version of the quaternary knot. The four sides are said to represent the four seasons of four elements- fire, earth, wind and water.
